From April 6 to June 26, 2015, Colgate and TerraCycle are held the third edition of "taking care of your smile and the planet", whose goal is to promote recycling of oral hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and containers, regardless of brand. These items, once processed, return to the production chain to generate new products such as trash cans, bags, pencil holders, pencil cases, among others.

Each item collected, the consumer sum 2 points, equivalent to Us $ 0.02. The campaign was hatched over criteria that motivate people to participate on behalf of the common good, since, in the end, the sum of the scores is converted into resources to public school or non-profit institution, at the choice of the donor. Last year, the campaign collected approximately 120 thousand items of oral hygiene.

Free registration and open to all – anyone can sign up and train your team with friends, colleagues, family members and other interested parties. Registration is free and must be made on the website of TerraCycle, in http://www.terracycle.com.br/pt-BR/brigades/brigada-de-saude-bucal.html. The dispatch of the material is entirely funded by TerraCycle, through a prepaid postal label, generated in the own company Web site.

Note that only the items received in the period of duration of the campaign – from 6 April to 26 June – will be considered for validation of bonus points. Thus, to ensure participation, teams must observe the deadline of 4 to 5 weeks from the date of posting to receipt of the material by TerraCycle.
