Festival proposes a reflection on living on Earth

The 8th International festival "Walk of life", held from 26 and June 28, in the Cultural circuit liberty square in Belo Horizonte (MG), provided a moment for reflection on the individual and collective values that permeate society of the 21st century. The Team Blog Garbage accompanied everything closely.

The event, entirely focused on promotion of behaviors and habits that put the man in harmony with nature, gave emphasis to the healthy way of life today and linked to existing practices ancestors, as the curative medicine found in plants, in teas and meditation.

Way to happiness-white tents profiled along the freedom square was the ideal setting for the practice of yoga, Ayurveda medicine teachings and a chance to taste salty and sweet made by masters of vegan and vegetarian cuisine.

Experiments related to water savings and reuse of waste, whether in composting or recycling of waste into the creation of new utilitarian pieces, were also among the attractions that drew the attention of the public.

The festival, held by the Ayurveda Institute, aims to convey ideas and encourage interactions that awaken the conscience and responsibility of each front of the daily choices that impact life on Earth, positively or not.
