Mines without dumps-Israel Pinheiro Foundation

The program Mines without Dumps is the development of a series of actions and aims to run part of the public policy of municipal solid waste, through the eradication of landfills, the implementation of selective waste collection programs and correct disposal of municipal solid waste by the municipalities. The activities began in August 2008 and, since, being held regularly visits the 853 municipalities miners, and promoted seminars, trainings, conferences and regional production of booklets on integrated management plans of various waste as batteries, lamps, construction, electronics, plastics, cooking oil, tyres and glassy.
