Program Recycled-Coca Cola
The program Recycled, Won was created by Coca-Cola Brazil in 1996. Present in 23 States, has promoted the collection and recycling of post-consumer packaging 180 million. At Bandeirantes, the program is in its ninth year. The goal of the program is to contribute to the preservation of the environment, minimizing environmental impacts caused by the accumulation of non-returnable containers, as well as provide the Community actions aimed at environmental education, thus reducing the amount of trash that is destined to landfills.
In addition to promoting social inclusion of scavengers, encouraging the growth of cooperatives. Today the program is supporting 20 schools and 9 cooperatives in Goiás and Tocantins, at the beginning of the year both receive a goal of gathering and at the end of the same year, the school and the cooperative to achieve the goal and exceed the results of other participants earn a prize, chosen by them within a threshold value. Support for cooperatives through the donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, boots, aprons and uniforms.
