Rhythmic Drumming, Recycled Garbage-Project Sociocultural Myths
The Rhythmic Drumming, Recycled Garbage project was created, having your guidance by the bias of the reuse of discarded materials, specifically in the field of music.
Started in 2006, originating from the percussion workshops with waste and scrap, taught by the Group Life, took body design with the partnership of Myth socio-cultural Projects, this was initially made possible through the municipal law of incentive to culture of Goiânia, which culminated with the formation of the first block of the project, involving students from municipal schools of new garden World in the Capital.
Since then, the project has served on several community, always including children and adolescents from low-income families. Over the years, more than 20 blocks were formed, with the participation of almost a thousand students. The two older groups are the block new life, started in 2007, and basically integrated by sons and daughters of collectors of recyclable material, and the Batuque revolution, since 2006, composed of children from low-income families of Aparecida de Goiânia, in the metropolitan region, which give a show of rhythms with nice technical quality.
In 2009 and 2010, the project was implemented in several units of the national programme for the eradication of child labor (PETI), in partnership with the municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia.
