The most innovative aspect of the Brazilian solid waste Policy is the understanding that the responsibility for the trash should be shared, that is, all have a duty to fulfill in environmentally suitable disposal of the waste it produces. On the other hand, there is an ongoing process of awareness of the population, that we need to preserve the environment and develop actions that return to nature at least part of what draws her to produce consumer goods that, in the end, they saw trash generally disposed of inappropriately.
These changes in behaviour are having reflexes in many homes, where people began to do everything to give a noble destiny to serve them, as is the case with conditions to be recycled, and the organic waste, which offers all possibilities to be exploited. This is possible through the composting process that turns organic waste into natural manure, fully compatible with the environment.
Dirty work is with them – as well as the chicken is the Queen of the Coop, the worm is the Queen of composters. Without it the process of composting wouldn't happen. So, it is worth asking: what earthworms like best? The producer Ricardo Maximum Son, President of the Association for the development of organic farming-Goiás (ADAM) responds: "they love the shells in General, leaves, vegetables, seeds and fruit, except for citrus fruits, cooked foods and greasy. Like the shadow, the darkened and the moist environment ".
Assemble a composters is very simple. It can be made at home using plastic container such as buckets, or purchased on the market, offering various sizes, according to the production of garbage of each family. The secret lies in preserving who inhabits this environment and do the dirty work of consuming the organic waste and turn it into compost-are they, the worms!
